Educator
At Make The Time, Emma draws on teaching experience to design engaging lesson plans and provide insight into how young people learn. By bringing classroom knowledge into program development, she helps ensure that each program is practical, effective, and tailored to meet the needs of young people.

Callum
Educator & Training Coordinator
Callum is a local teacher with over ten years of experience across a range of primary and high schools in the ACT public system. Callum leads the development of individualised learning programs and trains staff to deliver them effectively. He has a strong interest in supporting boys and brings experience running group sessions that focus on connection, emotional development and positive identity. Callum is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with young people and creating learning experiences that make sense for them, especially for those who haven’t always felt like school was built with them in mind.

Jake has always been passionate about working with young people and supporting them to overcome challenges. As a youth worker at a high school in Canberra, he finds purpose in guiding students through life’s difficulties and helping them achieve their goals. With a background in football from the age of five, Wally brings the values of teamwork and perseverance into his work every day. He is committed to building meaningful connections, empowering others, and creating positive change in the lives of the young people he supports.

Oscar
Oscar Shaw graduated from Brisbane Boys’ College in 2023, where he served as 1XI Cricket Captain, 1XV Rugby Captain, Boarding Captain, and prefect. In 2024, he moved to Canberra to pursue his rugby career with the Vikings and Brumbies. With a background in psychology, Oscar is passionate about supporting disadvantaged youth, equipping them with the skills and resources to create positive change in their lives. Inspired by the impact of his work with young people, he is now pursuing further studies in youth development.

Josh
Josh’s passion for supporting young people is shaped by his personal experience with disabilities through his brother. This perspective gives him exceptional empathy and understanding, allowing him to build strong, supportive relationships, particularly with individuals facing similar challenges. Known for his positive spirit and uplifting nature, Josh creates an atmosphere of encouragement and kindness wherever he goes. His dedication not only enhances the lives of those he works with but also inspires those around him to approach others with greater empathy and care.

Wally
Wally was born in South Africa and moved to Australia at the age of six, growing up in Canberra where he still lives today. A dedicated football player, he represents the Vikings and is part of the Brumbies Senior Academy as a halfback. Despite enduring two reconstructive surgeries on his knee and hand by the age of 16, Wally’s passion for the sport has never wavered. He loves the outdoors, values helping others, and is committed to giving people opportunities to succeed while encouraging gratitude and positivity along the way.

Laquan
Laquan is originally from New Zealand who is passionate about helping people build independence and achieve their goals. He is approachable, patient, and reliable, with experience supporting individuals with a wide range of needs. Holding certificates in fitness, Laquan also assists clients in working towards their sporting and physical goals, combining practical support with encouragement and care.

Marley
Marley has come from Brisbane to join the Brumbies Academy, where he is pursuing his passion for rugby at a high level. Dedicated and hardworking, he thrives on the challenges that come with both sport and personal growth. Outside of rugby, Marley loves being outdoors — whether it’s training, exploring nature, or staying active with friends. His adventurous spirit, combined with his commitment to improving himself on and off the field, makes him a positive influence and a strong role model for young people.

Max
Max originally from QLD sunshine coast, loves the outdoors and having a lot of fun, Max moved down to canberra for Rugby Union and plays local footy at the Queanbyean Whites and also is in the Brumbies Academy

Lucy
Lucy is a passionate and energetic support worker who thrives on making a positive impact in the lives of others. With a love for staying active—both on and off the field—she brings the same enthusiasm she has for playing field hockey into her work. Lucy is deeply committed to empowering clients, helping them reach their personal goals, and being a meaningful part of their journey. For her, it’s all about connection, encouragement, and making a real difference.

Jonah
Jonah loves spending time at the beach and takes every opportunity to head there whenever he can. He often brings his clients along for coastal trips, creating meaningful experiences in the outdoors. Known for never saying no to $5 chips and gravy and a good yarn on the sand, Jonah thrives on connecting young people with nature and encouraging them to enjoy the outdoors while having fun.

Tom
Tom is a passionate individual who truly loves building connections. Whether he is out in the community or catching a movie, Tom has a natural ability to greet people with a friendly “g’day” and create new friendships wherever he goes.

Amaani is a 23-year-old who loves helping people and bringing positive energy wherever she goes. She is easy to get along with, always willing to listen, and enjoys being there for others when they need support. Known for keeping things uplifting and making people feel comfortable, Amaani is not afraid to put in the effort to ensure things are done right. He brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach and tailors his support to meet each individual’s needs. Holding fitness certificates, Xavier also enjoys helping clients build strength, confidence, and sporting skills along the way.

Alex
Alex Kerr is all about energy, laughter, and making a real difference. He is passionate about helping young people build confidence, pursue their goals, and feel supported—whether through meaningful conversations or positive encouragement. With a down-to-earth approach and a contagious sense of positivity, Alex brings warmth and enthusiasm to everything he does each day.

Caedus
Caedus is dedicated to helping adults and young people overcome challenges and create positive change. With experience at the Woden School, he brings strong skills in supporting individuals with diverse needs. As the eldest of nine children, he naturally developed a passion for caring and being a role model. Guided by his Tongan values of fakatōkilalo (humility) and faka’apa’apa (kindness and respect), Caedus approaches his work with warmth and integrity.

Currently works as a Learning Support Assistant. A passionate rugby league player, he also enjoys playing golf in his spare time. Rhys is hardworking, motivated, and always seeking new ways to challenge himself both on and off the field.
